Abstract. In this work is presented the AnimaCom project, a serie of animated videos for teaching-learning algorithms. The contents of the videos contemplate topics covered in introductory classes of the Computing courses. The motivation for the elaboration of the series is that the initial disciplines of algorithms and programming have high failure and evasion rates. In this way, the use of multi- media resources makes teaching and learning processes more participatory and interesting, and can contribute to the improvement of the process.
