ABSTRACT
Nowadays, it is observed that the constant evolution of technology is driving education to new directions, emphasizing the use of new tools and providing effective improvements in the teaching / learning process. Augmented Reality (AR) technology can be a great tool in education, and can also target children with special needs (PNE's). Using AR, the essence and importance of seeking knowledge can reach everyone with more or less needs, and is a useful and innovative tool. Because of this, this research has the proposal to present the development of an AR system, through an interactive textbook telling the story of the municipality of Labrea -AM in a childish way exploring the difficulties of the childrenPNE's, emphasizing the children with autism and cerebral palsy,showing the student's visualization and interaction with abstractknowledge in a complete way and facilitating the way to theunderstanding of theories and concepts.
