This extension project stimulates students’ interest in maker culture
and various areas of robotics such as mechanics, electronics, and
computing. The mobile robot educational kit presents differentials
as scalability in production, low cost, flexibility in assembly without
screws, and print circuit board project. We researched the literature
on active learning methodologies with a PBL and STEAM approach.
With the mobile robotics teaching material created by engineering
and technology students, they teach robotics courses in high schools
and the community. The ROME is an open-source hardware project
