With the significant increase in internet usage due to the COVID-
19 pandemic, there has also been an increase in sales through e-
commerce. For customers to feel more confident about shopping on
their websites, online stores use means of conveying security, and
one of these is rating mechanisms and reputation seals. This paper
compares data from three Brazilian reputation systems, referring to
2020 to detect discrepancies, thus revealing possible inconsistencies
in sure trust seals. In addition, a survey with e-commerce users
is presented that reveals the factors that influence the purchase
decision, like product exchange, free shipping, product evaluation,
among others.
