Thiswork presents the development of a neural controller to control
the speed of a CC motor, applying as a priority the response time,
the overshoot percentage, and the required precision of the system.
We developed a simulation of two alternatives for control: a PID
controller and a controller using Artificial Neural Networks. To
select the network architeture quantitative and qualitative analyzes
were carried out to interpret the phenomena and the behavior of
each proposed network architecture.
