Artificial satellite systems launched into space are designed for
various activities, such as communication, space observation, and
remote sensing. These satellites have consisted of a growing number
of modules to perform a wide variety of tasks. Due to the limitations
of onboard processors, there is an increasing need for structures that
support the functions performed by the satellites. One approach
is to use specific purpose processors to accelerate these functions.
However, integrating accelerators with processors is a complex
activity. Considering this,we propose the development of a platform
that seeks to facilitate the creation of Systems-on-Chip with
hardware and software components for use in space applications.
