ABSTRACT
The Database discipline has a certain degree of complexity to be
taught to high school students of Informatics courses and is
approached, for the most part, through theoretical and practical
classes, using lectures and activities in laboratories. School
competitions are a type of strategy that can be used to put into
practice the theoretical knowledge and improve student
engagement and promote competition and healthy learning. The
objective of this work is to present a gymkhana that is being
developed and executed to promote learning, creativity,
socialization and group work in a Technical Course in Informatics
at IFPR - Campus Quedas do Iguaçu.
