ABSTRACT
Games can be a valuable tool for the teaching and learning
process. This project aimed to offer workshops on computational
thinking for youngsters between 9 and 16 years-old. The
unplugged approach was adopted in order to include participants
whose institutions do not have access to internet. The one-and-ahalf
hour workshops were offered during 4 months – 1 per month
– in three public institutions for approximately 40 people. Both
participants and educators who work in these institutions have
shown interest in the activities offered and provided positive
feedback.
