ABSTRACT
The presence of women in the field of computing is low due to a
lack of representation and appreciation, resulting in little interest in
pursuing careers in these fields. However, the use of games to
stimulate girls' interest in computing has shown positive results.
This article presents the findings of a Systematic Literature Review
focused on works from Women in Information Technology.
Successful initiatives were identified that used games to spark girls'
interest in computing. However, the community's interest has not
shown growth over the years.
