ABSTRACT
This article presents a project developed in the context of an introductory
programming subject of an electrical engineering course
at a Brazilian public university. The project encompasses the movement
STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics),
and the inspiration comes from the history of people like
Beethoven and Hellen Keller, who overcame their sensory limitations.
Therefore, the project created in the TinkerCad tool, using
Arduino, simulates a piano using a 4x4 keyboard, executes a segment
of Ode to Joy with the vibration in a buzzer, and shows the
notes in the LCD. It is thought that the project can be an inspiration
to other initiatives to be carried out both in higher education and
in elementary education, thus contemplating the demands for the
inclusion of Computing in the National Common Curricular Base.
O Computer on the Beach é um evento técnico-científico que visa reunir profissionais, pesquisadores e acadêmicos da área de Computação, a fim de discutir as tendências de pesquisa e mercado da computação em suas mais diversas áreas.
