Abstract—The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates
that around 50 million of the world’s population has Epilepsy.
This disease affects children and the elderly and significantly
affects the quality of life of these patients. In this context, it
is essential to understand the different ways in which Epilepsy
impacts the daily lives of patients. The temporary symptoms
attributed to seizures resulting from the disease can cause risks
and injuries to patients, as many of them are not aware of the
imminence of a crisis that, in some cases, can lead to death. In this
work, we propose a device capable of detecting signs of seizures
and warning patients with Epilepsy to minimize potential risks
to their physical integrity.
