ABSTRACT
This paper presents an experience report of a scientific initiation project that integrates research and extension activities with the goal of increasing female participation in computing and promoting digital inclusion. Based on the principles of experiential learning, the project organized a series of practical and interactive activities, including educational robotics workshops using LEGO Mindstorms, unplugged computing dynamics, and discussion circles about women's presence in technology. The initiatives also involved career mentorships conducted in partnership with influential professionals and educational institutions, as well as a workshop aimed at the digital inclusion of indigenous women. The results were evaluated qualitatively and quantitatively, highlighting the positive impact of the activities on increasing confidence, participants' interest in technological areas, and the promotion of a more inclusive environment. Finally, this work reinforces the importance of connecting research and extension to foster diversity and strengthen female leadership in technology, presenting a replicable model for other educational initiatives.
