ABSTRACT
This paper reports a collaborative meeting between university projects focused on the inclusion of women in computing, held in a region with limited initiatives in this field. The event aimed to foster support networks and share effective strategies for promoting gender equity in technology. The program featured discussions on academic and professional advancement, highlighting practices to enhance the participation of women in computing. Additionally, the presentation of a well-established project with nearly 10 years of experience served as inspiration for a recently launched local initiative. The exchange of experiences demonstrated the transformative potential of such events, emphasizing the importance of expanding similar initiatives to foster diversity, strengthen networks, and promote equitable opportunities in computing.
