    O uso do software Scratch no ensino de Computação e desenvolvimento do Pensamento Computacional

    ABSTRACT
    This study aimed to investigate the application of programming logic using Scratch software in the context of teaching Computing and developing Computational Thinking. This is a qualitative, exploratory study conducted with first-year high school students from a public school. The results indicated that students developed skills related to programming logic using Scratch, recognizing and applying the pillars of Computational Thinking – decomposition, pattern recognition, abstraction and algorithms – through the creation of a digital game. The analysis of the research corpus revealed that the construction of the digital game, based on Scratch programming logic, contributed to the development of skills such as identifying and selecting strategies for formulating algorithms. This approach provided students with opportunities to think, discuss, recognize and improve programming logic, making the learning process more meaningful and effective.
