ABSTRACT
Ear-EEG technology has emerged as a promising solution for discreet
and comfortable brain monitoring, with potential applications
in areas such as auditory attention decoding (AAD), brain-computer
interfaces, and smart assistive devices. This work presents a systematic
literature review focused on the application of ear-EEG for
auditory attention detection, investigating methods and technologies
developed. In addition, we have discussed the main technical
limitations and gaps in the literature, highlighting the challenges
associated with accurate AAD. The results indicate a growing interest
in the area, so future research should focus on standardizing
preprocessing techniques and exploring low-cost, efficient devices
and algorithms for signal acquisition and analysis.
O Computer on the Beach é um evento técnico-científico que visa reunir profissionais, pesquisadores e acadêmicos da área de Computação, a fim de discutir as tendências de pesquisa e mercado da computação em suas mais diversas áreas.
