Abstract
Since its invention, radio has stood out as a means of communication
with a wide reach, promoting interactivity and influencing
opinions. In Brazil, its educational function has always been one
of its central pillars, providing both entertainment and knowledge.
However, many of the historical collections of Brazilian educational
radios remain inaccessible to the public due to a lack of proper digitization
and preservation. It is in this context that the Vintana
project arises, with the aim of making these collections available
and democratizing access to them by creating an intuitive and
easy-to-navigate digital platform. Focused on researchers, students,
and those interested in cultural collections, the platform aims to
preserve and value the audiovisual heritage of educational radios,
promoting broader and more organized access. Vintana stands out
for its proposal to provide an accessible experience, gathering historical
content that can be explored efficiently and practically. With
a software engineering structure divided into six stages, the project
ensures that the entire development process is carried out with a
focus on preserving and disseminating content. In this way, it is
hoped that the platform will contribute not only to the preservation
of the cultural memory of educational radios but also to the dissemination
of knowledge and culture, strengthening the importance
of educational broadcasting in Brazil and ensuring its legacy for
future generations.
