This work presents IPAQMove, a REST API developed to digitalize and automate the processing of the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ) proposed by the World Health Organization (WHO). This tool estimates the time spent on light, moderate, and vigorous physical activities during the week to calculate the Physical Activity Level (PAL). The manual calculation of the PAL makes large-scale studies time-consuming and prone to errors. IPAQMove addresses this issue by offering automated PAL classification, structured data storage, and tools for researchers to manage studies and analyze individual or aggregated results. The API was implemented using TypeScript, Fastify, and MySQL, following Clean Architecture principles to ensure modularity and scalability. Endpoints are fully documented through Swagger. The results demonstrate that IPAQMove fills an important gap in current health technologies by providing a validated and standardized method for PAL assessment. Future work includes expanding security and authentication features.
