After the implementation of the General Data Protection Law (LGPD), the dissemination of educational data in Brazil began to face new technical and legal requirements, leading to the need for adjustments in public data display platforms. Objective: To evaluate the feasibility of Apache Superset as a tool for disseminating public educational data in Brazil. Methods: The analysis included a heuristic evaluation based on Nielsen’s heuristics and accessibility tests (AccessMonitor and Lighthouse) according to WCAG 2.1. Results: The system showed a moderate maturity level, with 17 Major usability problems and compliance only with basic WCAG Level A. A critical regulatory gap regarding the LGPD was identified due to the lack of automatic data anonymization. Conclusion: While technically viable, Superset’s deficiencies in usability, accessibility, and data anonymization pose significant barriers for its use in public transparency portals.
