The Matilda Effect is the social and historical movement against women that involves minimizing their works and contributions, often attributing their efforts to male colleagues, especially in science and technology. This article shows an experience of mitigating that phenomenon by sharing in social media women who contributed to science through history, besides bringing STEM knowledge to girls and women who are interested in this kind of content. To improve engagement from the followers, a study in 5W2H framework and color perception was carried out, and the results presented more views, likes, shares, and new followers in the project profile after a three-month analysis period, examining all kinds of content, like posts and short videos.
