The development of laterality and spatial orientation skills in children aged 6 to 8 remains a pedagogical challenge, particularly due to the prevalence of low-interactivity teaching methods and the lack of tools capable of recording learning processes. This paper presents Vrum! A Jornada, a hybrid educational game that combines a sensor-embedded board, a low-cost microcontroller, and a gamified narrative to support children’s understanding of spatial concepts. The system integrates tangible interaction, multisensory feedback, and automatic validation of player actions. A pilot study conducted in a controlled environment indicated high levels of engagement and concentration, with most errors occurring in laterality-related tasks. These preliminary results suggest the potential of hybrid physical-digital interfaces as platforms for investigating spatial learning in educational contexts.
