The article presents the partial results of Genius Girls, an alternate reality game (ARG) created to highlight women in science and encourage female participation in STEM fields. The research finds that the low female representation in these areas is due to gender stereotypes and the historical erasure of scientific contributions made by women. Using a quantitative and exploratory approach, a survey was conducted with students from integrated high school programs to identify their knowledge about women scientists. Furthermore, a digital prototype of the game was developed, composed of challenges based on the contributions of Kathleen Antonelli, Alma Hayden, Lise Meitner, and Maria Laura Mouzinho, integrating logic, computing, mathematics, physics, and chemistry. The partial results indicate good acceptance of the game, high participant satisfaction, and a perceived increase in knowledge about women in STEM. The project is ongoing, with continued improvement of the game and its implementation.
