This article analyzes the intersection between digital education and environmental awareness based on the practices developed in the Tecendo Futuros extension project. The initiative aimed to promote digital inclusion and introduce programming to young people and adults, combining technological learning with reflections on sustainability. The study adopts a mixed approach, both qualitative and quantitative, grounded in experience reports, participant observation, and analysis of data collected throughout the course. The results show that the practical and collaborative methodology contributed to the development of technological competencies and strengthened participants’ autonomy. The collective creation of a game about sustainability demonstrated the project’s potential to integrate technological education with environmental awareness. The project also had a positive social impact on the community, reflected in high engagement, low dropout rates, and participants’ interest in continuing their learning process.
