The underrepresentation of women in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) is related to gender stereotypes and the historical invisibility of women's contributions. This article presents an experience report of an extension project developed at Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Rio Grande do Sul - IFRS/Campus Feliz, whose objective is to encourage the participation of girls and women in the field of Informatics through educational, cultural, and artistic activities. The activities, carried out throughout 2025, involved different audiences, from Early Childhood Education to Higher Education, including workshops, discussion groups, and a traveling exhibition. As partial results, approximately 765 participants from about 30 municipalities were reached in person, highlighting the relevance of extension initiatives in promoting gender equality and strengthening female representation in scientific and technological fields.
