Maker culture is a national movement that aims to reinforce and facilitate student learning in technical and technological education, helping them learn with greater objectivity and depth, emerging as an innovative approach. It applies to this objective through active practices and methodologies that encourage students to develop innovations and improve social, intellectual, and individual aspects. The Ideas Laboratory project is part of a teaching group involving research and outreach, with the main objective of identifying technological demands and creating practical solutions. The project, initiated in 2024, seeks to expand upon the characteristics of the 'learning by doing' philosophy, which is characterized by the combination of knowledge and technologies in the development of practices and prototypes. The use of these methodologies and characteristics in the project has enabled the construction of a learning and study method that provides students with solid and tangible knowledge applicable beyond the academic environment. This resulted in the development of several applications, such as: SECE (Specialized Internship Control Service), aimed at meeting the demands of the internship sector; the Flood Relief App, developed to centralize disaster relief; the Ideas Lab Website, for managing the project and its aspects; and M-CHAT Digital, for digitizing a questionnaire focused on ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder).
