This paper presents the development and application of FloraTrack, a digital tool designed to support arboreal inventories and environmental education in educational environments. The objective of the study is to analyze how digital technologies can contribute to the organization, access, and pedagogical use of botanical information in teaching, research, and extension activities. The research adopts an applied approach, characterized as an experience report with a case study conducted at a public educational campus. The methodology involved technical training, field data collection, identification and georeferencing of plant species, the development of a mobile application, and usability testing in a real-world environment. The solution integrates geolocation resources, cloud storage, automated identification through machine learning, and access via QR codes. The results indicate that the tool increased student engagement with environmental education content and demonstrated technical feasibility for field use, even under connectivity constraints. This study contributes to the literature by proposing a replicable solution for educational contexts seeking to integrate environmental science and mobile digital technologies.
