The residential eletric shower is one of the items that consumes most water and energy. in view of this, we have conceived a device called EcoShower wich is coupled to showers aiming to measure consumption at each use. This information is sent to a network server that can to be accessed by smartphones through a specific application. The sensors are associated with circuits designed to be compatible whit Arduino® plataforms, wich processes the signal and performs calculations to provide consumption data reports with to motivate users to spend less. The initial readings performed with the prototype reveal relative accuracy and possibility of increasing the use of data intelligently for other purposes.
