Female participation in computing is still limited by stereotypes and cultural barriers. Despite the historical contributions of women to technological development, their presence in the field has declined in recent years. Initiatives such as the Programa Meninas Digitais and its partner projects aim to reverse this situation by promoting inclusion and gender equality. This article reports the impact of actions carried out by the project Meninas Digitais Vale do Itajaí, focusing on an event celebrating International Women’s Day, aimed at female undergraduate students in computing, with the goal of strengthening their integration and participation in the academic community.
