The proposal presents a solution for urban areas affected by heat islands and that face limitations for the implementation of traditional vegetated beds in public streets. In this context, the use of metallic structures designed to support green canopies is proposed, equipped with automated irrigation systems and powered by solar energy. This alternative aims to serve locations where the main challenge is the lack of space and the difficulties in implementing conventional vegetated areas, such as squares and parks. It is estimated that the use of this structure can contribute to improving thermal comfort and enhancing environmental quality in urban spaces, such as concrete walkways, while also supporting more sustainable and climateresilient urban development strategies.
