    CONTRIBUIÇÕES DA INTERNACIONALIZAÇÃO VIRTUAL (IV) PARA O FORTALECIMENTO DA INTERNACIONALIZAÇÃO DO ENSINO SUPERIOR (IES) NO SUL GLOBAL

    Objetivo: Investigar se a internacionalização virtual (IV) pode auxiliar universidades do Sul Global a superar desafios da internacionalização do ensino superior e fortalecer suas estratégias institucionais.
    Design/metodologia/abordagem: Foi realizada revisão bibliográfica e documental, com a seleção de duas linhas de investigação em três bases de dados (Web of Science, Eric e Scopus). A análise buscou identificar tendências e impactos da IV em instituições de ensino superior do Sul Global.
    Resultados: Três achados principais foram identificados: i) iniciativas de IV contribuem para a qualidade do ensino e ampliação de perspectivas globais, além de melhorias em políticas pedagógicas, colaborações de pesquisa e redes institucionais; ii) o uso crescente de plataformas digitais evidencia apoio à cooperação internacional em ensino e pesquisa; iii) a divisão tecnológica Norte-Sul permanece, dificultando a equidade no acesso e implementação da IV.
    Limitações: O estudo destaca a escassez de literatura sobre os efeitos da IV em países latino-americanos e africanos, apontando a necessidade de políticas mais inclusivas e adaptadas às realidades locais.
    Originalidade/valor: O estudo contribui ao demonstrar que a IV pode ser uma ferramenta estratégica para reduzir desigualdades no ensino superior, ampliar a colaboração internacional e promover o desenvolvimento institucional no Sul Global.

Revista Alcance

A Revista Alcance é uma revista brasileira de livre acesso, com publicação quadrimestral, vinculada ao Programa de Pós-Graduação em Administração e Programa de Mestrado Profissional em Administração - Gestão, Internacionalização e Logística da Universidade do Vale do Itajaí – Univali. Procuramos publicar artigos de trabalhos teóricos-empíricos e tecnológicos nas áreas da Administração. Diferentes perspectivas teóricas e metodológicas são bem-vindas, desde que sejam consistentes e relevantes para o desenvolvimento da área.
