It presents some proposals based on the new insights gained, which can serve as a starting point for formulating research questions and problems to be investigated. In summary, the study provides (a) an integrated view of the literature in the field of strategy on the resource-based view and dynamic capabilities, and (b) extends the discussion of resource portfolio management beyond the company limits toward an understanding of resource orchestration (resource management and orchestration of assets), promoting a discussion of the dynamic capabilities in complementary fields of research, in this case, open innovation.
