Editors adopt and follow fair and coherent procedures in the case of situations of an ethical or conflict nature, in addition to providing authors with the right to respond to evaluation decisions to which they are submitted.

Responsibilities of evaluators/reviewers

The referees who form the RV&D panel of evaluators have the responsibility of contributing to the decision-making process regarding the publication of a scientific work, helping in a relevant way to improve the quality of the published article, reviewing the manuscript objectively, within the deadline established in the “ Guidelines for Authors.”
They must maintain the confidentiality of any information provided by the editor or author(s), and they are prohibited from retaining or copying the manuscript.
Furthermore, they must alert the editor if they identify content(s) published or sent with suspicions of plagiarism and self-plagiarism, that is, substantially similar to that under review.

Therefore, the article submitted must be unpublished and cannot be subjected to another evaluation process, nor must it have been published in any other national or foreign journal, unless it is published in another language and in another country, in which case there must be citation that it is a version of an article already published in another journal.
The authors, at the time of submitting the scientific work, adhere to the originality clause, becoming aware that, even after approval and publication of the article on the journal's website, irregularities in relation to the ethical issue of publication are identified, this will be immediately removed and, instead, information will be included that “the article was removed for reasons of publication ethics”.

a) be suitable for the lines of research adopted by the journal;
b) fully comply with the rules indicated in the ‘Guidelines for Authors’;

e) correctly fill in all metadata with the personal information of all authors, biography, institution, lattes, orcid and other information that is necessary.

Self-plagiarism

Regarding self-plagiarism, the article must constitute an original contribution and citations from the author's previous works must be cited when necessary to understand the unpublished article with regard to theory or methodology.

Editorial Duties Regarding Unethical Behavior

Any unethical manifestation identified in scientific works published in Revista Vozes e Diálogo may be brought to the attention of the editor at any time, by anyone, as long as they provide sufficient information and evidence for an investigation to be initiated.
Evidence must be collected while avoiding spreading any allegations beyond those that need to be reported.
In any case, the author must be given the opportunity to respond to any allegations.
Our articles are evaluated by peers to guarantee the quality of the scientific publication. They first undergo screening prior to distribution to evaluators, where, parallel to the pre-evaluation criteria, autoplagiarism software is used.
