In terms of the methodology used, it is a theoretical lato study, and in terms of the technical procedures used, a bibliograhic review. It consists of showing the use of the structure resulting from the formation of strategic alliances, as a tool for helping to increase competitive advantage and achieve the other strategic objectives of the organization. It concludes that the competitive process requires a search for collaborative solutions between competitors, through mechanisms of strategic alliances, transposing the company's individuality and achieving a strategic planning that is broader, for the benefit all those involved.
