THE PROCESS OF DEVELOPMENT AND DEPLOYMENT OF KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT AT THE HEADQUARTERS OF BUNGE ALIMENTOS – GASPAR/ SC

Organizations that want to seize the opportunities created by globalization, diversity
and technologies, while reducing the risks associated with this reality, need a management in
which the effective use of knowledge is a key part. This article examines the process of
development and deployment of Knowledge Management in a company of international
prominence in the agribusiness industry: Bunge Alimentos, located in the town of Gaspar, in the
State of Santa Catarina. For this procedure, a survey will be carried out with a descriptive
quantitative approach. The interest in investigating Knowledge Management in its initial phase,
in a large company with significant market power, is due to the understanding that this
management technique is important, in an environment where the competitive positions of most
organizations are determined not only by their physical and financial capital, but more importantly,
by their intellectual capital - knowledge, experience, expertise, and various intangible assets.
