The objective of this paper is to give an overview of scientific production in the area of Business Administration that focuses on environmental themes. The specific objectives of this work are to identify the categories of scientific research, to recognize the main methodological components, to list the most prolific authors in the area, and to map the references used in the articles. To achieve these objectives, this research adopts an exploratory-descriptive approach, carried out by means of a bibliometric study. The results of the analysis of 165 articles addressing environmental issues published in the area of Business Management revealed some trends and perspectives on scientific production regarding the methodological strategies adopted in the studies, the profile of the authors, the most frequently cited works, and the sources of reference used.
