The present article brings an analytical-discursive investigation having as materiality and corpus of work the Law n. 11.947 / 2009, that regulates the “Programa Nacional de Alimentação Escolar” (PNAE), legislative norm that needs to be observed when it comes to the right to the snack in public education. From the theoretical-methodological questions of Discourse Analysis of the French line founded by Pêcheux (2009), and the investigations of Orlandi (1994, 2003, 2015), Florêncio et al. (2009), Cavalcante (2007), Guimarães (2005), among others, we carried out analyzes in two discursive sequences cut out of the referred Law, with the intention of unveiling eff ects of meaning and discursive-ideological constructions present in it, crossing the apparent homogeneity of the discourse of this norm, especially those of power-elite that “camoufl age” the food and educational responsibilities inherent to the State.
