Teaching Practice in Higher Education Teaching, from the students’ perspective
Published date: 11/03/2010
In recent years, it has become essential to discuss assessment, institutional assessment, and learning assessment. Beyond the complexity that characterizes the act of using this fi eld (assessment) to construction of refl ection, taking into consideration the different public approaches on the part of the federal government bodies that govern the national Brazilian education system, this paper refl ects on some aspects of the Pedagogy course at a private higher education institution in the State of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The core of this refl ection is based mainly on documents produced by the department responsible for institutional assessment at the institution, with an emphasis on qualitative aspects recorded by the students at the end of a questionnaire, which was applied in 2005, when some of the disciplines offered were evaluated.
