RESEARCH ON PROFESSIONAL ORIENTATION IN INTERNATIONAL JOURNALS
Published date: 08/08/2013
This article is part of a broader process of reviewing the research on guidance published in scientific journals. The purpose of the review is to promote discussion on the thematic and methodological lines developed in research on guidance. This paper presents the results of an analysis of two internationally recognized journals: The Career Development Quarterly and L’Orientation Scolaire et Professionnelle (2009-2012). The analysis leads to conclusions concerning the internationalization of publications, topics of interest, the collective objects of research, the aims and methodologies. These findings are contrasted with those obtained in a previous work in which Spanish journals were analyzed.
