Syllabus and teaching strategies in media education are discussed as a course proposal for Pedagogy programs. The three units proposed for the subject include, 1) cultural image languages; 2) audiovisual languages and 3) writing on the Internet. It was observed that is greater acceptance among Pedagogy students in relation to the last two subjects, despite the fact that media education in general is not well-accepted as a subject to be learned by students of Pedagogy
