Success in the socialization of the pleasure of reading often comes from the method used by the teacher, who is responsible, first and foremost, for knowing the text and slowly capturing its subtleties. Aware, then that reading is indispensable for social development and individual fulfillment, the teacher weaves the threads that will bind the student to the book, turning him or her into a reader. However, one cannot forget the influence of the family environment and exposure to books from an early age, as many writers have demonstrated. No less convincing are the statements of teachers who in Higher Education and in the exercise of the teaching career, become hooked by reading, particularly literature, their statements constituting the high point of this article.
