The aim of this work is to produce and expand the senses of teacher training and supervised practice, through the experiences shared by trainees of the Physical Education graduation course of the Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo. As instruments for data production, it uses the memorials produced by the students in partial fulfilment of the Supervised Internship discipline of the final series of Elementary School. From 2011 to 2015, in nine academic semesters, we gathered 180 memorials, from which we selected 14 for this research. In conclusion, the work highlights the complex relationship between the actors involved in the supervised practice and their contribution to the initial and continuing education of teachers. It also addresses, from the perspective of the trainees, the enhanced acknowledgment of the teachers’ demands based on their experiences of higher education; and from the perspective of the authors, of a writing-training that is constituted in the activities of research, narration, listening, feeling and writing.
