A study of the pedagogical work of YAE teachers

The text presents the results of a study carried out in 2007/2008 with twenty-two teachers who work in Youth and Adult Education (YAE) at a public state school of the city of Belém, in order to analyze their teaching practice. It presents the theoretical and methodological elements that support the study, and reveals the results obtained, which show a need for more investments in training teachers to work with young people and adults.
