A new year brings new opportunities, and we are ready to turn challenges into achievements! With great enthusiasm, we celebrate the arrival of Volume 27 of the journal Turismo: Visão e Ação, marking 27 uninterrupted years of dedication to building and disseminating knowledge in the field of tourism and related areas. This historic milestone not only fills our hearts with pride but also drives us to go further — improving, innovating, and leading the way toward an even more inspiring future.
Maintaining our commitment to open science, we continue with the continuous publication system, an innovation that allows greater agility in editorial process. We kick off this edition with an international article authored by researchers from Nanjing Forestry University, China, along with three national contributions from scholars at the University of Caxias do Sul (UCS) and the University of Brasília (UNB). The next publication, scheduled for February 2025, already includes four more articles in preparation.
