Higher Education in Tourism and Hotel management is currently going through many changes in its “teaching-market” scenario, since the number of courses in this area has increased considerably, often neglecting to exercise its pedagogical proposal in the wider sense. In this context, there are various courses in the country – among these, the object of study of this article, - the Tourism and Hotel Management Program of UNIVALI / SC, which practices a process of inter-disciplinarity throughout it curriculum, more specifically, in its most significant project which is the PIMH – Projeto Interdisciplinar do Módulo Hoteleiro (Interdisciplinary Project for the Hotel Management Module). This project was created four years ago, by the teaching body of the course, and has become a differential among the other courses in tourism and hotel management in the region and country. It aims to extrapolate the limits of education and the job market, through the exercise of an interdisciplinary and entrepreneurial spirit.
