The Magazine will seek its recognition as an Interdisciplinary publication, as it is linked to the two Professional Masters Degrees at Univali. One in the area of Health and Work Management and the other in the field of Public Policy Management, both from Univali.
The journal receives texts from Brazilian and foreign researchers, preferably linked to Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Programs, with the following characteristics:
a) Scientific Article;
b) Scientific Communications (paper);
c) Reviews of books published in the areas of Social Sciences and Health;
d) Experience reports in University Extension.
Scientific works submitted to the Revista Brasileira de Tecnologias Sociais - RBTS must undergo prior screening, carried out by the responsible Editors (submission exam), who check the compatibility of content with the adopted Editorial Line, in addition to methodological aspects and structure contained in the Guidelines for Authors.
After passing the prior screening, scientific works are sent to at least 02 (two) external reviewers, selected by specialty on the topic for qualitative evaluation, according to the 'double blind peer review' process.
The average deadline for completing the opinion is 90 (ninety) days. After returning the analysis, the opinion is forwarded to the author(s) for acknowledgment and incorporation of suggested modifications, without identifying the reviewer(s).
The modified text will be sent back to RBTS, and will undergo a new evaluation, at the discretion of the Editor-in-charge (the degree of changes that the reviewer(s) have required will be taken into account). If the author(s) disagree with the qualitative analysis, they will be able to justify their position to the Editor-in-charge who will decide whether it is subject to a new round of evaluation, if there was a discrepancy between the two reviewers and , if deemed appropriate.
If the editor-in-charge maintains the position of the reviewer(s) and the author(s) maintains their disagreement, the journal reserves the right not to publish it. The progress of changes will be informed by email to the author(s).Frequency
