Abstract: Introduction: In March 2020, the SARS-Cov-2 virus, popularly known as Covid19, was declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization. The virus has a high transmission rate, and is responsible for a viral infection, for which an important percentage of affected individuals will require specialized hospital care. Objectives: To analyze, through a systematic review, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on mental health of nurses working in health care services. Methodology: This is an integrative literature review, a method that presents a broader approach, in which it is possible to include a greater diversity of studies, involving research and reviews. Results: after data analysis, 16 articles were selected for the final study. Conclusions: Many factors influenced the mental illness of nurses. In view of this, it is clear that professionals who care for other individuals also need care and strategies that value their mental and physical health, as many professionals are exhausted, with depression, anxiety and fear on a global scale.
