In the context of cyberculture, cultural studies in education and porn studies, the aim of the article is to analyze pedagogies of bodies and sexualities in bareback performances of amateur pornography produced and shared by a group of gay men on Twitter. The method used was qualitative research, descriptive and analytical. Data were produced from non-participant observation and analyzed through content analysis. The results show that bareback performances are articulated through other subgenres of pornography, of which we highlight three in the study: interracial sex, in a public place, and group sex. The article concludes that Twitter creates and propagates pedagogies with different meanings and bareback meanings that question and operate new strategies of power, control and imprisonment of gay bodies and sexualities in digital environments.
