This paper presents a methodological proposal called DataCon, which was created to help researchers in the field of education. It was developed based on the premises of Corpus Linguistics and the Data-Driven Approach. This study also includes an evaluation of this proposal by graduate students, who were asked to consider its main contributions and limitations. The evaluations highlighted contributions of the DataCon methodology related to its technological and strategic potential for searching, compiling and managing data, and some limitations related to analyses, time management and digital skills.
