This article presents a bibliometric analysis of academic productions on young people and adults with disabilities in educational indicators, without restricting the period of publication. The goal is to identify advances and gaps in this field of research. After searching national catalogs of theses and dissertations and the virtual library of scientific journals, only sixteen papers were identified. The results show that research into the intersection between Special Education and Youth and Adult Education is still incipient, especially in terms of educational indicators. Although some studies have addressed quantitative and qualitative aspects of this reality, the majority have been restricted to local contexts, with municipal or regional cut-outs. At a national level, research into this subject remains limited, with only three studies dealing with it in greater depth. Therefore, this study highlights the urgent need for research that articulates a broader understanding of the presence and conditions of schooling for students with disabilities in the EJA.
