About the Journal
The Journal of Law Studies is a scientific publication, with open access. Its Editorial Board is composed of renowned scholars affiliated to universities in Brazil, Portugal, Argentina, India, Chile, Spain, Italy and Mexico.
The journal’s editorial line follows the main research areas developed by the research group, with focus on:
1) Constitutional Principles, Politics of Law and Artificial Intelligence;
2) State, Transnationality and Sustainability;
3) Constitutionalism and the Production of Law.
Currently, it is classified as Qualis A1 (Brazilian ranking system) in the area of Law of CAPES (Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel - Brazilian Ministry of Education).
In addition, this journal, through its editorial scope, prioritizes works that explore topics relevant to society. And, for that, it uses the themes highlighted in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN. Since 1995, articles are accept in english, portuguese and spanish language as well.
