The article analyzes the challenges faced by people with disabilities in completing higher
education, focusing on physical, social, and academic barriers. It evaluates the effectiveness of public
and institutional inclusion policies and their impact on student retention in educational institutions.
The study offers practical recommendations to address these obstacles, aiming to promote inclusion
and equal opportunities. Based on the analysis of public retention policies, the article highlights the
importance of targeted strategies to reduce dropout rates among students with disabilities.
